Let us introduce our explainer video. Our aim was to explain how Whalebone works in a popular way. We plan to use it not only at our website, but mainly during all the events we are taking part on and as a part of the video stream at our exhibition desks.

Whalebone can detect malware-generated domains

Whalebone cooperates with Czech technical university in Prague to enforce its abilities by neural networks and deep learning. Due to the EU’s fund “Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations for Competitiveness” we were able to perform extensive research of algorithms malware use to generate domains for communications with command & control servers. It empowers Whalebone in fighting malware and helps its detection availability even when experiencing a brand new malware threats. It gives us strong own source of own data.

Whalebone presented its abilities in fighting malware at MikroExpo

We accepted invitation and presented Whalebone at one of the traditional CEE ISP conferences MikroExpo. The highlight of our presentation was the conference contribution on how malware works and how is Whalebone protecting networks. We have also revealed what state-of-the-art techniques our used by Whalebone (neural networks, predictive techniques or anomaly detection) in malware protection.
