The SigurOne service is available to the entire One Montenegro customer base – including prepaid, postpaid, and business customers and can be easily activated through the Moj One self-care application. Customers can also receive additional support and information through the contact center, retail channels, and dedicated business sales representatives.
Unlike traditional cybersecurity tools that rely on antivirus software or separate mobile apps, SigurOne operates directly within the telecom network.
The technology behind the service, Whalebone Aura, protects users at the DNS layer - the stage where internet requests are translated into the addresses that devices connect to. By inspecting these requests, the network can block access to malicious domains before a harmful connection is established.
In practice, this means threats can be stopped before they reach the user's device. If someone clicks a malicious link received via SMS, email, or messaging apps, the connection is intercepted and blocked automatically.
Just as importantly, the protection works without requiring downloads, updates, or configuration. Once the service is activated, it applies to every connected device using the network - smartphones, laptops, tablets, and loT devices.
The launch of SigurOne reflects a broader shift in how telecom operators approach cybersecurity.
Traditional security solutions place the responsibility on the user - install software, maintain updates, and react when alerts appear. For most people, that process creates friction and leads to low adoption.
